Scope

This privacy policy (“Policy”) applies to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by Sykes Enterprises, Inc., or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, (“SYKES”) when you use web sites operated by SYKES that link to this Policy (the “Sites”) and the services associated with or set forth in the Sites. SYKES does not sell data collected to any third party and will only transfer your data

  3. In response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requests; or
  4. To designated third parties as defined within our cookie consent policy In the context of onward transfer, Sykes Enterprises, Inc. has responsibility for the processing of personal information it receives with your consent and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Sykes Enterprises, Inc. shall remain liable under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Online Communities and Social Media Usage

The Sites may include certain online communities and other interactive features, such as user profiles, forums, message boards and chat rooms. You may be asked to choose a user or member name in order to participate in certain features of the Services, which will be available to the general public while you participate in some features of the Services, such as the online communities. We recommend that you not use your real name or other personally, identifying name. SYKES has official pages on social media services including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and YouTube. We may collect additional information from social media companies if you choose to share with them and they, in turn, share such information with us.

Any posts you make on our official social media pages – including posts that contain pictures, comments, suggestions, opinions, complaints, or personal information – are available to others who use those pages. Never include sensitive personal, financial, or other confidential information such as your Social Security number, account number, phone number, mailing address, or email address when posting or commenting online.
